That's what it's doing here in my part of KY.
It made me so sluggish today.
I started my day with my umbrella blowing up on me.
Not blowing away Mary Poppins style but it actually
blew up. Some spring popped out of some plastic
and some of the metal bars that held the umbrella
outward broke. And it made a terrible noise.
Bye bye big pretty green and sun bleached Thistledown
umbrella. I got the umbrella from my deceased uncle.
When he passed away, some of my family drove 6 hours
to Cleveland to clean out his apartment. The umbrella
was something I took for myself ( as well as some books,
blanket, all his ties, and some porn......and that's a WHOLE
other story!!!)
NEwho, due to rain, it felt like work just droned on and on.
I felt like my bed was sending me messages.
"Come on home.......your book is right where you left it.
Let's take a nap.......oh come on.......fake some sickness
leave work and come join me in the warm covers".
Well, I didn't listen. I was a trooper. I made it thru.
I am the brave little soldier that did my job till the end.
(Okay, that's me trying to be funny.)
You know what got me thru today?
Thoughts of you.
No.
Seriously, it was the fact that tomorrow is
FRIDAY!!!! and
I also fantasized about going to the beach
sipping margaritas, soaking up the rays,
frolicking in the waves, getting sand in between
my toes. I shared my dreaming with Miss Lily

Here I am complaining of rain and by the way it happened
to be 55 degrees and she has snow and more snow.
You know what? I think I would rather it snow
than look at this dreary, pouring rain.
Snow is prettier than this rain.
Well, rain is pretty when thing are blooming
and the grass is green but right now
it's just gray and muddy brown when I
look out.
Okay----enough of my rambling......

(Speaking of my tan, I'm planning on
starting my tan this weekend.
YAY!!!!!! Yes, I'm getting a tanning package
since there is no sunshine here and when it
is around I'm usually at work).

It is snowing here at the moment. A little storm. I do agree with you, this is a whole lot better than rain. The schools might be closed today who knows.. ;-) I hope for them because spring break starts today.

By the way, I was lucky to have learned both languages at the same time. English mom, French Canadian dad. I was lucky, I didn't have to work at it. I would like to learn Spanish. The Spanish teacher is trying to show me a few words. Food seems to be what I remember.. hummm wonder why... ;-)

You know I thought about doing a
tan-o-meter thingy where I post pics of my tan as it is coming along. We are on the same brain wave! Ha!
Also, I just remembered that when I took spanish in high school my teacher was French! Isnt' that hilarious! She was 'trying' to teach us spanish and I remember her see "We" No! I mean "See"
Maybe that is one reason I didn't pick up that much spanish!
As a child I lived in California and I remember knowing many spanish words. I do believe that it is easier to learn when you are around it and use it.

I've been trying to blog since yesterday and there is always an error sign that keeps popping up..not sure if there's a bug in blogger or my computer????

It's probably blogger that's the problem. It can be such a pain at times!!! I think that's why I have met some bloggers and they have gone to other blog outlets such as wordpress.com.
I wanted to mention that I help teach a 5th grade PREP class once a week for church. It's for the kids that don't attend Catholic school so I help teach about being Catholic, sacraments, etc.
I tell you after doing this I have an even bigger respect for teachers. I have mostly rowdy 5th grade boys in my class and it takes every bit of my energy to get their attention for an hour!!!
I couldn't imagine what it would be like to teach them all day, 5 days a week!!!!
Today, I have been so lazy.
My pugs, as usual, wake me up at 7 a.m. and I never get to sleep late.
I laid down to take a nap around 11 a.m. and then my husband came in from working. Then he left. Tried to nap again but never fell completely asleep. I finally decided to wake up at 2:40 p.m.
It's now 5:39 p.m. I have picked up some clutter. I have done some laundry. My dishwasher is broke and I want to cry. My house is wreck and I here I sit, unshowered on the internet.
LAZY!!!! That's me.

Makes me want to stay in as I have.
So happy Saturday to you. I didn't go buy my tanning package, obviously. But I will. Probably this week.
I'm not sure if it's blogger the problem because there is this person that has a blog and every time I visit her, the error sign pops up... I have tried visiting her blog on someone else's computer and it works fine....
I'm a little worried that there is a bug with my computer.. I'll wait till tomorrow but will see. I can answer comments but can't get into new posts.. error..error.. error.. grrrr very frustrating.
Good for you that to help teach the 5 graders. I did a practicum at that level and was supposed to teach all subjects, which I'm not trained for. It was time for religion class and there was this little boy who asked me why God had let his mommy and daddy divorce... spur of the moment... hummm OK let's read a little of The Old Testament... turn the first page... woman has corrupted man into sin therefore will have to suffer when giving birth.. OK.. let's put that book far away at the back of the class... REALLY not an easy task that you have on your hands.... again... good for you for putting time and effort in something that you believe in. I admire that.
Oh so what if you're lazy on Saturday!! You worked all week. You need to work on the guilt! LOL

I feel your pain. I, too, have been so aggravated at my computer.
It has moments of being so mind numbing sloooowwwwww!!!
As for the 5th graders, they are so busy being ROWDY and talking to their buddy that they have yet to ask me any deep thought provoking questions. Sigh of relief on that.
I am still being lazy. More laundry done. Now wondering what we will order for dinner. That's right---something to be delievered.
I'm so lazy and don't want to put any pants on that I have yet to get a pack of cigs out of my car.
(Yes, bad habit!!!)
