Hey All!
Hey all!
Forgive my venting.
Just some people out there in this world
just sometimes come across as having no
heart.
I try to put myself in others shoes.
But someone who seems to have bitterness
spewing from them or those who are just so
selfish.......well, it's real hard to see
where they are coming from. I know it's these
people that I should pray for even more.
It's just hard to have that love in my heart
for those people even when I know they really
are the ones who need the love the most!

Anyway, I'm fine. I'm not talking about any
of ya'll. Just some people that I've met
along the way or some people who have tainted
others lives.

So I leave you with this powerful love poem,
to leave you with some positivity!
Many blessings!

There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;
no disease that enough love will not heal;
no door that enough love will not open;
no gulf that enough love will not bridge;
no wall that enough love will not throw down;
no sin that enough love will not redeem...
It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble;
how hopeless the outlook; how muddled the tangle; how great the mistake.
A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.
If only you could love enough you would be
the happiest and most powerful being in the world...

Some people
Do some people just not have a conscience anymore?
Or maybe they never had a conscience to begin with?
Have some people in this world just forgotten that
people have feelings and that our hearts are fragile?
I don't understand mind games and the need to lie.
I just don't understand the make-up of some people.
How can they go thru their life and try to pull the
wool over someones eyes? How can they look at themselves
in the mirror? Or do they even do that? Do they live
in denial of who they truly are? Or do they simply
just not care? How can someone just not care?
I don't understand that concept.
I am a firm believer in do unto others as you want
done unto you. I just don't know how someone can
just be fake, phony and such a deceiver. Who can
you wake up everyday and be content with yourself?
How can you live with yourself? How can it be so easy
to be so selfish and only think of yourself?
Why can't I wrap my mind around this notion?
Is it that I just have this big ole heart inside
of me that it's just so hard to fathom?
I want to see the good in everyone and how sad and
disappointing it is to be disappointed.....yet again.
I have this hope, this feeling that what is wanted can be had
and these simple expectations that can turn out well
and I hate when it is dashed. To be hopeful and to feel
you have wasted precious energy and emotion.
The wall of not trusting just grows higher and
I wonder will one day it become impenetrable?
Things you do when you are bored
I'm not much in the Christmas spirit. I hope that changes.
When I think of Christmas, honestly, I think of stress.
Which is ironic when you see my first blogthing quiz.

Your Holiday Stress Level is High

Everything about the holidays stresses you out - from your freaky family to packed malls.
Maybe this is the perfect time of year for you to take a solo vacation to Hawaii.

(How ironic a bunch of friends are going to Hawaii for Christmas this year
on a cruise!)

You Are a Fruitcake!

You taste like nothing else in this world.
And get ready, you're about to get tossed!

(A fruitcake! Ha!)

You Are Eggnog

Rich, sweet, and probably a little drunk. Everyone who knows you tends to get a little fatter.

(Pass the eggnog, ya'll! Ha! Ha!)

Nope, You're Not a Grinch

Although you may feel Grinch-like at times, it's just because you're worn out from the holidays.

You get into the holiday spirit more than most people - and you truly enjoy celebrating with your family and friends.

(Well, come on warm and tingly feeling! I want to be in the
Christmas spirit. I want to want to listen to Christmas songs, I want
the desire to put up the Christmas tree; I want to want to start
my Christmas shopping. Anybody else feeling this funk?)

(Now my list isn't as long as hers but I get what she's thinking.....)
Pure or not
I was visiting a new blog, that's Bunny's blog and I saw this:

You Are 44% Pure

You're usually the typical girl or guy next door...
But you also have a secret naughty side!

Me? Secret naughty side? Say it isn't so....

What's in a name
So I'm bored and I was checking on the
always entertaining world wide web. I
came upon this website and thought it
was interesting.

What's in a name.
http://www.kabalarians.com/index.cfm
(copy and paste that in your address bar)
So I took my real name which of course I
will not reveal and did a little analysis.

*Although the name ------ creates the urge to be both logical and technical, we emphasize that it causes procrastination, lack of confidence, and the inability to realize your goals and ambitions.

*This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses in the elimination and fluid systems.

*Your first name of ------ has given you a pleasant, easy-going, friendly nature.

*Personal contacts are important to you.

*In situations where you are serving others, demonstrating or instructing, you have the patience to go into details that someone else may not think to be important.

*In your association with others, you are often limited to the more mundane happenings and little personal problems that can be so frustrating to those of an active, dynamic nature.

*You desire to create system and order in your environment but are inclined to become side-tracked and socialize when you should be working.

*Your ambitions are not large, as you lack confidence in your own abilities and would sooner not take a chance.

wow. go check it out!
bored

Do you ever get bored?
Well, it's rare but I do.
Like right now.
I want to do something
but I am in a funk.
I'm dressed but where to go?
What to get in to?
So here I sit writing this
boring ole post.
sigh.

glitter-graphics.com

glitter-graphics.com

I just had to share since it's
my special day!

People born on November 17th:
Although you have a talent for communicating, you are not an open book. Your personality is vibrant, and others notice you wherever you go. As emotional as you are, you prefer to present the strong side of your personality to others. You may readily discuss your personal past, but you are not one to whine about your life. You do have an interesting life story, no doubt about it, as you tend to attract change and even crisis into your life with your controlled yet powerful emotions. Your life is far from static, likely because your personality is very dynamic.

We are Protective - Strong - Emotional !!!

More than a fleeting thought
I sometimes wonder if I am letting down God
by not having any children.
I am a woman. I have the parts.
I wonder if I'm not being the woman I
am supposed to be?
Just something that I think about.

A tag
TAG YOU'RE IT!!
Post 6 habits/facts about yourself that you haven't previously posted.

1. I can not let my finger nails grow out long.
I can't stand for them to be dirty. So I clip
them down. If I want long nails, I go get fake
ones.

2. I don't have an a$$. I mean there is an
area called an a$$ BUT I don't have much
junk in my trunk. Sorry to disappoint.

3. I could probably eat grilled or baked
salmon everyday.

4. I am currently trying out the Pro-activ
skin care system. I do not like my skin
(especially in the cooler months) so
I am trying to make it look better.

5. I know I started this blog for me BUT
I do get disappointed when people don't
stop in and say hello. (Yes, Jerrster
and Ed I am talking to you :)

6. I often wonder what my life would
have been like if my mother hadn't
died when I was a very little girl.
Would my life be dramatically different?
Would I be who I am today?

YOUR TURN!!!
Come on Nancy Bee!

Torture

glitter-graphics.com

So I have made it thru another class!
Two down and I forgot how many more
to go? 13? Well, I have just suffered
thru 5 weeks of Management and Leadership.
Every time we met, which by the way is
every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.,
the teacher read to us from the textbook!
Torture I tell you! Torture!
I am sooooooooooo glad it's over!
Tonight was the last night. On to the
next class and hopefully, Oh God, I am
praying that the next teacher is better and
and no more of the suffering,
the agony, the misery and anguish!
I went back to school to learn not
be tormented by a teacher who should not
be teaching! Heck fire! A teacher
teaches. A teacher does not read
chapter after chapter and definition
and key word over and over and over
till you just can't pay any attention
at all. I wonder how many to do lists
I have made? I wonder I how I endured
as the hours slowly ticked by? It's terrible
that this was only my second class
and I actually dreaded going!

By the way, after each class we are to evaluate our
teacher. She isn't going to like
her evaluations.

Final Exit
So I'm reading another book. This one is
called "Final Exits-the illustrated Encyclopedia on
How we die"
Now don't think I am morbid, it's just really
interesting.
This is what the book says--
"To die, kick the bucket, to meet your Maker, dead as a doornail, get whacked, smoked, bite the dust, sleep with the fishes, go six feet under—whatever death is called, it's going to happen. In 1789 Ben Franklin wrote, "In this world nothing is certain but death and taxes." Death remains a certainty. But how do we die? It's the enormous variety of how that enlivens final exits.

According to death certificates, in 1700 there were less than 100 causes of death. Today there are 3,000. With each advance of technology, people find new ways to become deceased, often causing trends that peak in the first year. People are now killed by everything, from cell phones, washing machines, lawn mowers and toothpicks, to the boundless catalog of man—made medicines. In Final Exits the causes of death—bizarre or common—are alphabetically arranged and include actual accounts of people, both famous and ordinary, who unfortunately died that way. (Ants, bad words, Bingo, bean bag chairs, flying cows, frozen toilets, hiccups, lipstick, moray eels, road kill, starfish, and toupees are only some of the more unusual causes"

Okay, so I'm reading this and then I visit Keshi's blog
and her blog post is about "6 month notice"
What would you do if you knew you only had six months.
My reply:
What a deep subject to ponder.
I wonder what I would do if I had 6 months........
1) Probably freak out a bit. This means crying, feeling sorry for myself, being angry, and then I hope I would come to acceptance becuz without it I could not live out my months as I would hope.
2) I would have to spend time at the beach. Since I live about 8 hours away from the closest beach I would have to spend some time there....I would hope to expire there.
3) I, too, would have to go out and eat all my favorite foods.
4) Write letters to all my loved ones and to ALL who have touched my life in a positive way. I hope that I don't feel the need to write to those who haven't touched me positively, I have this bad urge to write them a guilt trip letter. I hope I would rise above that naughty temptation.
5) Strengthen my faith. I hope to be as close to God and Jesus as I possibly can before I hope to finally meet them in person.
6) Tie up loose ends. Make sure that I got rid of as much debt so my husband wouldn't be left with it. So I definitely couldn't quit my job. I would also sell alot of my frivilous material goods that I have. Some of course, I would give away to loved ones and other things I would donate.
7) I would want to plan out my funeral service. I would want to see what all my priest was going to say about me. I would pick out the music, my casket, my plot, my outfit. I probably would write a letter to be read at my funeral.

Now it's your turn, I ask this question of you---
WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU KNEW YOU ONLY HAD 6 MONTHS??????

Having a vain, blonde moment
"It is stereotypical that most men do prefer blondes, seeing as how the media portray blondes as "easy" or "promiscuous." Because of this, they believe that blondes "have more fun."
Well, I'm not easy but I am more fun! Ha!
